Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a significant visit to Uttar Pradesh today, where he will inaugurate more than 14,000 projects worth ₹10 lakh crore. This grand initiative will take place at the fourth ground-breaking ceremony of the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023 (UPGIS 2023).
The projects, spanning various sectors such as manufacturing, renewable energy, IT and ITeS, food processing, housing, real estate, hospitality, and education, signify a major boost to the state’s economic landscape.
PM Modi’s itinerary includes laying the foundation stone of the Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal, underscoring the government’s commitment to cultural preservation and development.
Furthermore, significant initiatives are slated to take place at the groundbreaking ceremony. Noteworthy among them are the launch of nearly 300 MSME projects, an electric vehicle manufacturing unit by Ashok Leyland, and numerous projects from other departments like IT, electronics, housing, and excise.
The day will commence with PM Modi attending the inauguration program of the Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal, followed by an address to the gathering. Subsequently, he will proceed to Lucknow for the UPGIS 2023 ground-breaking ceremony.
In Lucknow, PM Modi will inaugurate an exhibition showcasing various developmental initiatives before participating in the main ground-breaking event. The ceremony will witness the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other key dignitaries.
During the ceremony, industry leaders will present their perspectives, highlighting the significance of the projects for the state’s growth trajectory. PM Modi will then digitally launch the projects, symbolizing a significant stride towards Uttar Pradesh’s economic prosperity.
