Rajasthan for election,BJP to launch Parivartan Yatras-Tatva

Published:

Starting on September 2, BJP intends to conduct four “Parivartan Yatras,” which would be followed by a public address by Prime Minister Modi in Jaipur, on September 25.

In order to strengthen their electoral preparation, the Bhartiya Janata Party will send its bigwigs, including Union Ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, to the election-bound state of Rajasthan. According to reports, the party plans to begin its four “Parivartan Yatras” across the state next month, each lasting 23 days.

Home Minister Amit Shah will signal the commencement of the first “Parivartan Yatra” from Sawai Madhopur’s Trinetra Ganesh Temple, while JP Nadda, the party’s national president, will signal the start of the second Parivartan Yatra from Vaneshwar Dham.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will lead the third Parivartan Yatra beginning in Ramdevra, Jaisalmer, while Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will lead the fourth Yatra beginning in Gogamedi, Hanumangarh, according to the reports.

Vasundhara Raje, a former chief minister of Rajasthan from BJP, Jyotiraditya Scindia, and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, as well as party state president CP Joshi and deputy leader of the opposition Satyendra Poonia, will all participate in these events.

“These transformational journeys will reach all 200 constituencies across the state. District-level gatherings will also be organized during this period. This comprehensive campaign will span over 23 days,” sources said.

“To ensure victory in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections, the BJP has planned four transformational journeys, each originating on different dates: September 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The journey will culminate with a large public address by PM Modi on September 25th in Jaipur,” the sources added.

Rajasthan is slated to hold elections later this year, BJP and the reigning Congress are involved in a direct contest.

In the 200-member legislature in 2018, the BJP won 73 seats, comparatively low to 99 seats won by the Congress. With the help of Independents and the BSP, the Congress under Ashok Gehlot established the government, in Rajasthan. The BJP could easily win 120 seats if it can shift 4-5% of the vote in its favour, receive 40% of the vote, and keep the Congress below 35%.

In Rajasthan, people continue to struggle to obtain essential resources like drinking water. Rajasthan has the lowest female literacy percentage in the nation, at 57.6%, making it the state least suited for females’ education.

The public likes to overthrow the current administration since they don’t like the ordinary chief ministers like Ashok Gehlot and Vasundhara Raje, but when they overthrow the Bjp, Ashok Gehlot replaces them, and vice versa for Vasundhara Raje. Other than replacing the administration, there is little the citizens can do. In such scenario, change of the leadership might help both the parties, as public would love to see replacements like Sachin Pilot from Congress and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat from BJP who is a very skilled administrator and a Jal Shakti minister in the Modi cabinet.
