Infosys vs Cognizant: The war between the top IT companies of the country has intensified. Recently there was news that Wipro has initiated legal action against two executives who left them and went to Cognizant. Now a new problem has arisen in front of Cognizant. Another giant Infosys has also made similar allegations against this IT company. Infosys claims that Cognizant is using unfair practices to break the employees. Infosys has also sent letters to Cognizant in this regard.
Infosys made this allegation on Cognizant
According to the Money Control report, Infosys has accused NASDAQ-listed Cognizant of employing its employees through unfair means. Infosys has sent a written complaint to Cognizant in this regard. According to sources, there is no agreement between the two companies not to compete. But this written complaint is being considered as a warning action from Infosys. Recently some senior officials of Infosys have gone to Cognizant.
Big executives of Infosys are continuously breaking Cognizant.
Ravi Kumar, who left Infosys and became the CEO of Cognizant in January this year, has made more than 20 executive vice presidents and four senior vice presidents. Many of these are from Wipro and Infosys. Cognizant has given jobs to big names of Infosys like Anurag Vardhan Sinha, Nageshwar Cherukupalli, Narasimha Rao Manepalli and Shweta Arora. Two of these people have also joined Cognizant. The rest of the plans may be in trouble after this strict letter.
Wipro files case against two of its officers
Wipro has even started legal action in America and India against Mohammed Haque and Jatin Dalal who joined Cognizant. Wipro has filed a case against former CFO Jatin Dalal in a Bengaluru court. The former CFO has filed an appeal for mediation in the court. Apart from this, the company has taken action against Mohammad Haq on charges of stealing confidential information.
