Home Affairs under CM Mohan Yadav’s Leadership, Finance Portfolio Assigned to Jagdish Devda

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday assigned key portfolios, keeping home ministry with himself. Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda was allocated finance and Yadav’s other deputy Rajendra Shukla was given public health.

Mohan Yadav’s cabinet strength includes 31 ministers. Apart from the CM, the cabinet also has two deputy chief ministers, Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla.

Apart from home ministry, CM Yadav will handle the General Administration Department (GAD), Public Relations, Jails, Mining, Aviation, Industrial Policies and Investment Promotion. Besides these portfolios, the chief minister will also take care of the departments, which have not been specifically assigned to any minister.

Besides finance, Deputy CM Devda, who was also the finance minister during the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in the state, has been given charge of the Commercial Tax department.

The other deputy chief minister, Rajendra Shukla, has taken charge was allocated Public Health and Medical Education.
