BSE and NSE: The week in the stock market is only five days. Generally trading in the market starts from Monday and regular trading takes place till Friday. The only exception in this case is the festival of Diwali. Like this time the market was open even though it was on Diwali weekend. The reason for opening of the market on Diwali is Muhurta trading. However, a day is going to come in the next month i.e. January 2024, when the market will open even on a holiday and a special session will be organized.
Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) are going to organize a special live session on January 20. Under this, the pre-open session will start at 9 am. After this, the market will open at 9.15 and closing at 10.00. The second session will start from 11.15 and continue till 12.50. During this time, the disaster recovery site will be switched to.
Market and investor protection from DR Site
According to official information, this special session will be started on Saturday. In this, a trial of switching to DR site will be done. How the DR site is performing will be checked by trading during pre-opening session on BSE and NSE. With its help, trading can be protected from any kind of cyber attack. Disaster recovery site can be used to deal with cyber attack, server crash or any other problem. This will maintain the safety of the market and investors.
