According to the report of TechCrunch, the CEO of FrontDesk announced to fire 200 employees of the company during Google Meet. The employees who were retrenched include full-time, part-time and contract workers. Announcing the layoff of hundreds of employees, the company’s Chief Executive Officer Jesse DePinto said that the company would declare itself bankrupt and apply for receivership for financial assistance provided by the state. The company has received funding of more than $26 million from different companies, but still it has failed to complete its operations successfully. The company has been trying to get more funding for a long time, but has been unsuccessful even after offering several jobs including Chief of Staff on LinkedIn.
