Now a case has been filed against the officials of Aarka Sports Management Company regarding this. Dhoni’s lawyer says that one of Dhoni’s deals with the company went wrong, in which the former Indian captain was cheated of Rs 15 crore.

Dayanand Singh of Vidhi Associates, who is representing Dhoni, said a case has been filed against Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Biswas of Aarka Sports Management. He said that the company and Dhoni had signed an agreement in 2017. The company has not fulfilled the terms of that agreement till date.

The agreement signed between the former Indian captain and Aarka Sports Management was about setting up a global cricket academy. According to the agreement, the company was liable for the franchise fee and the company also had to give Dhoni a share in the profits. Dhoni’s lawyer claims that the company has not fulfilled the terms of the agreement and has broken the professional relationship.

Dhoni’s lawyer’s statement

Dhoni’s lawyer says that several attempts were made on behalf of his client to find a solution to the issue. Legal notices and reminders were also sent to the company. Finally, Dhoni revoked the authority letter given to Aarka Sports Management on 15 August 2021. Dhoni’s lawyer said that after the fraud committed by the company, he has no other option left except taking legal action.
