Kylian Mbappe offered the biggest deal in football history worth $333 million

Published:

The most sought after player, Kylian Mbappe has received the biggest offer in the football history as Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal has offered Paris Saint Germaine $333 million to speak to him. The Frenchmen has been at loggerheads with the French side over the last few weeks after he refused to renew his contract with the French club till 2025 and intends to leave for free when his contract ends in 2024. However, PSG is not ready to let him leave for free and sent him an ultimatum to either renew his agreement or leave this summer for a fee as they are not ready to let him go for free.

After receiving the offer worth $333 million, PSG has now let Al-Hilal speak to Kylian Mbappe. However, it is clear from Mbappe’s actions that it is very unlikely that he would accept an offer from Al-Hilal especially when his dream team Real Madrid is also looking to sign him. It is also very unlikely that he would leave a Qatari owned club to go into a Saudi club where he could face the same treatment which he got in PSG and that too at a time when his career is skyrocketing.

Kylian Mbappe was removed from the squad of the pre-season tour to Japan and South Korea by PSG after he refused to renew his contract and was forced to train with other players who were excluded from the squad and whom PSG is looking to get rid off too. The French National Team’s players union criticised this behaviour of PSG and accused them of harassment of the player and said that they would take civil and criminal action against the club.

This is playing in the advantage of Spanish club Real Madrid who have been pursuing to get Mbappe for a long time and had even offered PSG more than $200 million for him which PSG had declined last summer transfer window.

This shows the new attitude of the Saudi Arabian clubs who are ready to spend a lot of money to get the biggest names from Europe in order to make the Saudi Pro League much more popular and bigger. This new attitude of the Saudi clubs has also caused  tension in Europe as none of the European teams can pay as much as the Saudi leagues due to the Fair Play Regulations from UEFA.
