Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe is arriving on a two-day visit to India on 21 July. During this, he is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Officials gave this information here on Sunday.
Let us tell you that Sri Lanka is facing a cash crunch. Gotabaya Rajapaksa was ousted last year following a popular uprising. This will be Wickremesinghe’s first visit to India after being appointed as the new President.
Wickremesinghe was appointed President for the remainder of Rajapaksa’s term until September 2024.
