Mattel launches search for chief UNO player for new UNO game, offers $17,000 a month


Mattel has announced its quest to find a Chief UNO player who will take on the exciting task of introducing fans to the brand new UNO Quatro card game. The selected individual will delight fans by playing the game for four hours a day, four days a week, over the course of four weeks, as stated in Mattel’s press release.

Mattel is offering a part-time position based in New York City’s Pier 17 for an enthusiastic employee to play UNO Quatro and educate fans about the new rules. The chosen candidate will receive a generous compensation of $4,444 per week for their efforts.

“In our ongoing pursuit to provide fresh and exciting opportunities for UNO fans to connect with the game, we are thrilled to initiate a nationwide search for the inaugural chief UNO player. This unique endeavor aims to bring an unparalleled in-person gaming experience to our fans, as stated by Ray Adler, Mattel’s Vice President and Global Head of Games, based in Los Angeles, California, as mentioned in the press release.”

“We are delighted to extend an opportunity to the ultimate UNO player, who will play a vital role in introducing our latest game, UNO Quatro, to the world.”

According to the company, the primary qualifications for the role include a passion for the UNO brand, an outgoing personality to engage with the public and encourage others to join the game, and the ability to work in New York City.

Aspiring candidates who believe they have what it takes to secure the position can submit their applications until August 10 by creating and sharing a video on UNO’s TikTok channel, following the guidelines provided in the call for applications.
